Marina Facility Solutions

Marina Facility Solutions has been an active member of The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) for a number of years and, in 2006, was appointed its representatives in Croatia. TYHA is affiliated to the British Marine Federation and Marina Facility Solutions aims to increase the Croatian membership of TYHA so that the Croatian Marina Industry is better represented at international level.

Overseas Membership costs approximately €400 per annum and the benefits include:

• access to internationally approved marina manager courses and qualifications
• a forum to discuss local and international issues with members from the UK, Singapore, Turkey, Australia, Holland, etc.
• a quarterly magazine for members – Marina Facility Solutions periodically provides editorial on Croatia and Croatian members for inclusion in the magazine
• A Berthsearch service
• An opportunity for members to exhibit, in a large and highly professional TYHA stand at the London Excel Boatshow, at a favourable price
• Golden Anchor Awards – an internationally recognised scheme which classifies marinas according to facilities, etc and can be an excellent marketing tool

Active implementation of The Golden Anchor Award Scheme in Croatia will be dependent on the number of Croatian members taking up membership. However it is an extremely valued award in eg the UK, Australia and Turkey as it considers marina services and facilities in detail.
